How long after autologous fat breast augmentation can one massage the breasts?
I recently underwent autologous fat breast augmentation surgery and am curious about the post-operative recovery, especially regarding when I can start massaging my breasts normally.

Under normal circumstances, doctors recommend avoiding any form of massage or chest manipulation during the first few weeks after surgery. The specific timeframe may vary depending on individual differences and the details of the surgical procedure, but it is generally advised to wait at least 4-6 weeks.
This is because the transplanted fat cells require time to grow and adapt within the breast. Most of the fat cells can survive and integrate with the existing tissue, developing blood vessels to become part of the breast. If chest manipulation is performed too soon, it may prevent the fat cells from surviving, thereby affecting the postoperative outcome.
