Chest pain after breast augmentation surgery can be caused by various factors. It may be due to the chest tissues still adapting to the presence of the implants, especially in patients receiving breast implants for the first time, as the chest requires some time to adjust to the new foreign objects.

If the pain is accompanied by symptoms such as redness, swelling, or fever, it could indicate an inflammatory pain caused by infection, and prompt medical attention is necessary.
