What are the side effects of hyaluronic acid injections (mesotherapy)?
Recently, I heard about the cosmetic effects of hyaluronic acid injections and would like to try them. However, I am concerned about whether they might have side effects, especially regarding potential long-term damage to the skin. I hope to make a more informed decision by learning about the possible side effects of hyaluronic acid injections.

Side effects of the aqua needle treatment include facial irregularities, infection, hematoma, and allergic reactions.
1. Facial irregularities: As an injectable cosmetic procedure, the aqua needle treatment may irritate the skin or, due to insufficient nutritional supply to regenerating cells and disordered collagen regeneration, lead to uncontrolled postoperative recovery. This may result in symptoms such as skin surface hypertrophy or depression, causing facial irregularities.
2. Infection: The aqua needle procedure is invasive. If sterilization during the procedure is inadequate or postoperative care is improper, pathogens may enter the skin and cause infection. Symptoms of infection include redness, swelling, heat, and pain. If not treated promptly, abscess formation may occur.
3. Hematoma: The aqua needle uses multiple needles, causing widespread micro-injuries. This may damage the skin surface, leading to persistent redness and swelling.
4. Allergic reaction: Some individuals may be allergic to ingredients in the aqua needle solution, such as hyaluronic acid or vitamin C, triggering an immune response that causes allergic symptoms like skin itching, erythema, and edema. In severe cases, symptoms such as difficulty breathing and a drop in blood pressure may occur.
