Early Pregnancy Symptoms
I have recently experienced a delayed menstrual period, increased drowsiness, and fatigue. I would like to learn about the early symptoms of pregnancy.

Early pregnancy symptoms may include missed menstrual period, breast changes, fatigue, gastrointestinal reactions, and mood swings.
1. Missed menstrual period: After conception, the levels of estrogen and progesterone significantly increase in a woman's body, keeping the uterine lining stable and no longer subject to periodic shedding, resulting in amenorrhea.
2. Breast changes: In early pregnancy, the breasts may feel tender, sensitive, or have a mild prickling sensation, and the nipples may darken.
3. Fatigue: Increased levels of progesterone in the body may cause pregnant women to feel unusually tired.
4. Gastrointestinal reactions: Symptoms such as nausea and vomiting may occur. These symptoms may be related to slowed gastrointestinal motility caused by elevated estrogen levels after pregnancy.
5. Mood swings: Hormonal changes may lead to emotional instability, making one prone to anxiety or depression.
It should be noted that each woman's experience is unique; not all pregnant women will experience all of the above symptoms, and some symptoms could also indicate other health conditions. If you suspect you might be pregnant, it is best to take a pregnancy test and consult a healthcare professional for more accurate information and advice.
