Intracerebral hemorrhage caused by car accidents is a severe form of traumatic brain injury, and its treatment outcome depends on the location and extent of the bleeding, as well as the patient's overall health condition.

1. Volume of Hemorrhage: If the bleeding volume is not large, such as less than 30ml in the cerebral hemisphere or less than 10ml in the cerebellar hemisphere, non-surgical conservative treatment is usually adopted, including hemostasis, dehydration, seizure prevention, and neuroprotective measures. If the hemorrhage is substantial, such as more than 30ml in the cerebral hemisphere or over 10ml in the cerebellar hemisphere, surgical intervention may be necessary, such as craniotomy for hematoma removal. For patients who have already developed brain herniation before surgery, decompressive craniectomy might also be required.

2. Timing of Treatment: Prompt treatment can significantly reduce mortality and morbidity rates. Delayed treatment may endanger the patient's life.

Intracranial hemorrhage can lead to neurological dysfunction, and the degree of recovery varies among individuals; some patients may require long-term rehabilitation to regain function. However, once brain hemorrhage resulting from a car accident occurs, immediate medical attention should be sought.
