Epidermal pigmentation spots are common skin pigmentation disorders, often associated with factors such as sun exposure, genetics, and hormonal changes. They typically appear on the face, especially in the cheekbone area, causing psychological distress to patients. Laser therapy, as a modern dermatological technique, utilizes light of specific wavelengths to target the skin, effectively breaking down melanin granules without damaging surrounding healthy tissue. Therefore, laser treatment demonstrates certain efficacy in treating dermal pigmentation spots.

Prior to undergoing laser pigmentation removal treatment, patients need a comprehensive skin assessment to ensure their skin condition is suitable for laser therapy. After treatment, patients should focus on sun protection, moisturizing, and avoiding irritating factors to promote rapid skin recovery and reduce the risk of recurrence.

Although the results of laser treatment for dermal pigmentation spots are generally favorable, complete removal may not be achievable for everyone. For some stubborn dermal pigmentation spots, combining other treatment modalities such as mesotherapy or intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy might be necessary to achieve better therapeutic outcomes.
