How to Grow Taller Through Exercise
I am 15 years old this year, and I am a bit shorter than my peers, which troubles me a lot. I would like to know what kind of exercise can help me grow taller?

Height growth is mainly influenced by genetics and growth hormones, but appropriate exercise can promote bone health and contribute to height development. The following are exercise recommendations that can help promote height growth:
1. Stretching exercises: Such as the cat-cow pose and downward-facing dog pose in yoga, which can help stretch the spine, increase the space between spinal vertebrae, and aid in height growth.
2. Jumping exercises: Such as basketball and volleyball, which can stimulate the growth plates of long bones and promote bone growth. For children in their growth phase, regular participation in jumping exercises has a positive effect on height increase.
3. Swimming: Swimming is a full-body exercise that can stretch various parts of the body while reducing the pressure on the bones from ground-based activities, thus supporting healthy bone development.
4. Rope skipping: This activity can stimulate the growth of leg bones and enhance bone density. During rope skipping, continuous jumping helps stretch muscles and ligaments and promotes the secretion of growth hormones. It is recommended to skip rope for 15–30 minutes daily, in sets with 1–2 minutes of rest between sets.
Exercise is only one of the factors influencing height. Sufficient sleep, a balanced diet, and good lifestyle habits are also important for increasing height.
