In general, whether blisters will form after herpes virus infection mainly depends on the type of herpes virus. If it is varicella-zoster virus or herpes simplex virus, blistering may occur after infection. However, if it is cytomegalovirus or other herpes viruses, blistering may not occur.

Herpes viruses are a broad category of widely existing viruses, including multiple types such as herpes simplex virus, varicella-zoster virus, and cytomegalovirus. Different types of herpes virus infections may present varying clinical manifestations. Infections with varicella-zoster virus or herpes simplex virus typically result in blisters on the skin or mucous membranes, often accompanied by localized pain, itching, and other symptoms.

However, infections with cytomegalovirus or other herpes viruses may be asymptomatic or cause severe diseases such as pneumonia, retinitis, and encephalitis. Skin manifestations are relatively uncommon and may include rashes, but blisters are usually not the primary feature. Other herpes viruses, such as Epstein-Barr virus, cause infections with distinct characteristics and do not necessarily present with blistering.

In daily life, it is recommended to maintain good lifestyle habits and a strong immune system to help prevent herpes virus infections.
