Disease description:

Recently, I've had some lower back pain, and occasionally there seems to be a bit of blood in my urine—I'm feeling quite worried. I've heard these might be early symptoms of kidney cancer, and I'd like to know what other signs might appear in the early stages of kidney cancer?

Early symptoms of kidney cancer are often not obvious; some patients may have no discomfort at all, while others may experience symptoms such as hematuria (blood in the urine), pain, masses, or systemic symptoms.

A hard, irregular mass detectable in the flank or abdomen may indicate an advanced-stage kidney tumor. Systemic symptoms include unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite, fatigue, and fever. These nonspecific symptoms may also represent early signs of kidney cancer.

The above symptoms may also be caused by other diseases. Therefore, if these symptoms occur, timely medical consultation is necessary for comprehensive evaluation through imaging studies, blood tests, and urinalysis. Early detection and treatment are crucial for improving prognosis in patients with kidney cancer.
