In general, if the baby has a low-grade fever with a temperature not exceeding 38.5℃, and there are no gastrointestinal discomforts such as vomiting or diarrhea, it is acceptable to consume a moderate amount of eggs. However, if the baby has a high fever, with a temperature of 38.5℃ or higher, eating eggs is not recommended.

When a baby has a low-grade fever with a temperature below 38.5℃, and experiences no gastrointestinal symptoms like vomiting or diarrhea, a moderate intake of eggs is acceptable. Eggs contain abundant protein, immunoglobulins, various vitamins, and trace elements, which can help enhance the baby's immunity and promote recovery. However, it is important not to overconsume them—no more than one egg per day. If the temperature is excessively high, eating eggs is not advised. During a high fever, the baby's gastrointestinal function may be impaired, and consuming eggs could increase the burden on the digestive system, potentially causing indigestion or prolonging the fever.

During fever, the baby's diet should primarily consist of light and easily digestible foods. Nutrient-rich items such as eggs may be added in moderation, but it is important to observe the baby's digestion and tolerance to food. When necessary, consult a doctor or nutritionist for advice. If the baby is taking fever-reducing medication or other drugs, seek medical guidance to determine whether egg consumption is appropriate and how much may be safely consumed.
