What causes diarrhea in children?
My daughter is 7 years old. Recently, she has developed a fever, occasionally accompanied by abdominal distension. I suspect she may have diarrhea and would like to know more about what causes diarrhea in children.

Diarrhea is generally associated with conditions such as the common cold and can be treated with oral administration of montmorillonite powder or probiotics. If caused by gastrointestinal flu, it can also be managed with oral intake of Huoxiang Zhengqi Shui (Agastache Wholesome Qi Liquid) or Huoxiang Zhengqi mixture. However, it is important to note thatHuoxiang Zhengqi Shui is recommended for children aged 14 years and older. Additionally, infectious agents such as bacteria and viruses can also cause diarrhea. When diarrhea occurs, patients are advised to seek timely medical consultation to determine the underlying cause and receive appropriate treatment.
