Dr. Zhou Xiaofeng

A child with a cold, cough, and a red tongue may be experiencing symptoms caused by acute pharyngitis or possibly a pulmonary mycoplasma infection. If the condition is due to acute pharyngitis, anti-inflammatory treatment with medications such as amoxicillin granules may be taken under a doctor's guidance. If the symptoms are caused by a pulmonary mycoplasma infection, anti-inflammatory treatment with medications such as azithromycin dispersible tablets may be taken as directed by a physician.
