What does it mean if a baby's cardiac enzyme levels are high?
Disease description:
My nephew had a hospital check-up yesterday and was found to have elevated myocardial enzymes. I would like to ask what could be the reason for this?

Elevated myocardial enzymes in infants may be caused by the infant's own immune deficiency, parasitic infection, or viral myocarditis. If caused by a parasitic infection, the child can take antiparasitic medications such as albendazole tablets under a doctor's guidance; however, this medication is only suitable for children over 2 years old. If caused by viral myocarditis, the child can take antiviral medications such as acyclovir tablets as directed by a physician.
