Hazards of Rhinitis

Rhinitis commonly causes nasal dryness, nasal congestion, thick nasal discharge, or watery rhinorrhea, among other adverse effects. Rhinitis is generally classified into acute and chronic forms. Acute rhinitis may additionally lead to nasal obstruction and diminished sense of smell. In chronic rhinitis, the nasal mucosa is often damaged and may even produce foul odor, accompanied by persistent headache and other complications.
