An upturned nasal bridge typically does not increase nasal bridge height. Nasal shape is largely determined by genetic factors and is difficult to alter through non-surgical methods. Moreover, excessive force applied during nasal bridge tapping may damage the nasal mucosa and, in severe cases, even cause nasal bone fractures. If nasal bridge collapse occurs, rhinoplasty can be performed to improve the appearance.
