The duration of a nasal augmentation procedure varies depending on the individual's nasal condition and the complexity of the surgery. Generally, if the nasal condition is straightforward, the surgery may take only 15 to 30 minutes; however, for more complex cases, the procedure may extend to approximately 1 hour. Specifically, the variation in surgical time mainly depends on the time required for the surgeon to carve the implant. For example, nasal augmentation using solid silicone implants can be completed within十几 minutes (approximately 10–20 minutes); whereas, implantation of autologous bone or cartilage frameworks requires more time, typically around 1 hour. Due to the difficulty in carving expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) implants, the surgery may take between 30 to 50 minutes. To ensure surgical effectiveness and patient safety, it is recommended to choose a qualified medical facility, have the procedure performed by an experienced and professional surgeon, and thoroughly communicate with the surgeon preoperatively to understand the surgical process and potential risks involved.
