Early Symptoms of HIV
Disease description:
A colleague nearby has recently been diagnosed with HIV. I had contact with him before his diagnosis and am extremely worried about being infected. Over the past two days, I’ve been feeling unwell and am unsure whether this is due to HIV infection. Therefore, I’d like to learn about the early symptoms of HIV.
HIV is the virus that causes AIDS. In the early stage of AIDS, systemic symptoms may appear, such as generalized lymphadenopathy, fatigue, anorexia, fever, weight loss, night sweats, and thrombocytopenia. These manifestations can occur not only in the genital organs but also in other sites, such as the oral cavity. AIDS progresses through several stages, with distinct clinical features at each stage.
