Chest distension and pain, along with mild lower abdominal discomfort, warrant evaluation for possible gynecological disorders. Pregnancy must also be ruled out. Early pregnancy can be confirmed through laboratory testing. Any individual with regular sexual activity and no contraceptive use is at risk of pregnancy; thus, initial assessment may include a urine pregnancy test or transvaginal ultrasound. If gynecological inflammation is suspected, routine vaginal discharge examination and pelvic ultrasound are recommended.
