After embryo transfer in IVF, any vaginal bleeding warrants prompt medical evaluation. If the bleeding is due to implantation, it is generally not a cause for concern and may manifest as light vaginal spotting. However, if heavy bleeding occurs—especially when accompanied by abdominal pain—treatment with hemostatic (clotting-promoting) procedures may be required. During recovery, patients should follow a light, bland diet and ensure adequate rest.
