Sebaceous cysts of the ear generally do not resolve on their own. When a sebaceous cyst appears, treatment is required through topical medications, oral medications, or surgical intervention. It is recommended to maintain local cleanliness and hygiene during the course of the condition and to eat light,清淡 foods. Under a doctor's guidance, antiseptic effects can be achieved by applying iodine tincture or erythromycin ointment.

Sebaceous cysts of the ear generally do not heal on their own. When a sebaceous cyst appears, treatment is required through topical medications, oral medications, or surgical intervention.

1. Topical Medications

When a sebaceous cyst develops on the ear, it may cause local pain, redness, or swelling. Under a doctor's guidance, antiseptic agents such as iodine tincture or erythromycin ointment can be applied to reduce inflammation and help alleviate symptoms of redness and pain.

2. Oral Medications

If the sebaceous cyst is severely inflamed or infected, oral antibiotics should be taken under medical supervision, such as amoxicillin or cefixime.

3. Surgical Treatment

If the sebaceous cyst is large or accompanied by infection, the affected area must first be disinfected and debrided under a doctor's care. After the inflammation has completely subsided, the cyst should be surgically removed.

It is recommended that during the period of having a sebaceous cyst, maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the affected area and consume light, non-irritating foods to prevent worsening of the infection.
