Introduction
Probiotics can help maintain the balance of intestinal flora and aid digestion and absorption. However, consuming too many at once may lead to lactose intolerance, and could also reduce or even eliminate the number of probiotics naturally produced by the gut, resulting in dependence on external probiotics. Additionally, excessive intake might suppress the body's own ability to produce probiotics, leading to indigestion.

Consuming too much probiotic powder may lead to lactose intolerance, dependency, indigestion, and other issues.

1. Lactose Intolerance

Probiotics are beneficial active microorganisms that help maintain intestinal flora balance and support digestion and absorption. However, taking excessive amounts of probiotics at once may trigger symptoms of lactose intolerance, such as bloating, abdominal pain, and other gastrointestinal discomforts.

2. Dependency

Long-term or excessive intake of probiotics may cause the gut to become dependent on external probiotics. This can reduce the number of naturally produced probiotics in the intestine, potentially leading to their gradual loss.

3. Indigestion

Excessive use of probiotics may suppress the body's natural ability to reproduce probiotics, resulting in intestinal dysfunction and indigestion. This may manifest as abnormal symptoms such as bloating, nausea, and vomiting.

When taking probiotics, it is recommended to mix them with lukewarm water below 60°C to prevent high temperatures from killing the probiotics, which would render them ineffective.
