Normal blood pressure values

Introduction
BP stands for blood pressure. The normal range for systolic blood pressure is ≥93 mmHg and <133 mmHg, and for diastolic blood pressure is ≥63 mmHg and <93 mmHg. Even within the normal range, elevated blood pressure should be noted; when measured blood pressure shows systolic values of 133–135 mmHg or diastolic values of 82–88 mmHg, attention should be paid to high-normal blood pressure.

In daily life, some people pay special attention to their physical health and regularly go to the hospital for medical checkups to monitor whether any of their health indicators are out of range. One commonly seen measurement in medical reports is the "bp value." So what exactly is the normal bpvalue?

Normal BP Value

BP refers to blood pressure. The normal range for systolic blood pressure is ≥93 mmHg and <133 mmHg, while diastolic blood pressure should be ≥63 mmHg and <93 mmHg. Even within the normal range, caution is needed: if systolic pressure measures between 133–135 mmHg or diastolic pressure between 82–88 mmHg, it indicates elevated blood pressure within the normal range. Although this does not meet diagnostic criteria for hypertension, the risk of developing hypertension later is relatively high, so it must be taken seriously.

A multiparameter cardiac monitor typically includes measurements of blood pressure, heart rate, respiration, pulse, and blood oxygen saturation. The pulse reading here refers to the peripheral pulse detected by the pulse oximeter probe, which can also monitor electrocardiographic activity. The standard normal blood pressure range is systolic pressure between 90–140 mmHg and diastolic pressure between 60–90 mmHg. A systolic pressure above 140 mmHg and/or a diastolic pressure above 90 mmHg is considered hypertension, while a systolic pressure below 90 mmHg and/or a diastolic pressure below 60 mmHg indicates hypotension.

Everyone should pay close attention to personal health maintenance. If any abnormalities are detected, please seek timely medical evaluation and treatment to avoid adverse effects on health. We hope this information has been helpful. Wishing you good health and happiness!
