Introduction
Common symptoms of low ferritin include pale complexion, palpitations, chest tightness, and general weakness, which can be treated with oral medications. It may lead to physical weakness, resulting in overall fatigue. In addition, low ferritin may also cause decreased memory. A hospital visit is necessary for proper evaluation and treatment based on the severity of the condition.

Low ferritin levels commonly cause symptoms such as pale complexion, palpitations and chest tightness, and general weakness, which can be treated with oral medications.

1. Pale Complexion

Low ferritin is usually caused by insufficient iron release in the body, or may result from conditions such as iron-deficiency anemia. It often leads to physical weakness, with common symptoms including loss of skin color and paleness. Consuming moderate amounts of longan flesh, red dates, and goji berries in daily diet may help recovery.

2. Palpitations and Chest Tightness

When ferritin levels remain consistently low, it often causes abnormalities in blood supply, leading to insufficient blood flow to vital organs such as the heart and brain. In severe cases, this may trigger symptoms like palpitations and chest tightness. Treatment may include oral administration of ferrous sulfate tablets or ferrous succinate tablets under a doctor's guidance.

3. General Weakness

If low ferritin is not promptly treated, patients may experience physical weakness, resulting in generalized fatigue.

In addition, low ferritin levels may also lead to decreased memory. A medical evaluation at a hospital is recommended to determine the severity and appropriate treatment plan.
