Introduction
Synovitis with knee joint effusion can be improved through general treatment, joint aspiration, oral medications, topical treatments, and surgical intervention. During the acute phase, patients should reduce activity of the affected joint and rest in bed as much as possible. When moving, they may use a cane or walking stick and should avoid large-range movements. In daily life, patients should avoid wearing high heels to reduce weight-bearing stress on the knee joints.

Synovitis with knee joint effusion can be improved through general treatment, joint aspiration, oral medications, topical medications, and surgical treatment. The specific approaches are as follows:

1. General Treatment

During the acute phase, patients should reduce activity of the affected joint and rest in bed as much as possible. When moving, they may use crutches or walking sticks, and should avoid large-range movements.

2. Joint Aspiration

If conservative treatment fails to provide relief, patients may go to a qualified hospital for intra-articular knee joint aspiration. Fluid can be extracted via this procedure and subjected to pathological examination to determine the nature of the synovitis. If the inflammation is aseptic, compression bandaging should follow to prevent further exudation. Strict aseptic technique must be maintained throughout the procedure to ensure no infection occurs after aspiration.

3. Oral Medications

Patients experiencing severe pain may take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) as directed by a physician, such as celecoxib capsules or etoricoxib tablets.

4. Topical Medications

Under medical guidance, topical treatments such as indomethacin plaster or diclofenac diethylamine gel may also be used.

5. Surgical Treatment

If effusion recurs frequently, arthroscopic minimally invasive surgery is recommended under a doctor's supervision to remove inflamed synovial tissue. This can significantly alleviate joint effusion, reduce local irritation, and effectively control symptoms.

In daily life, patients should avoid wearing high-heeled shoes, minimize weight-bearing on the knee joints, and take care to protect their knees to prevent triggering or worsening discomfort.
