Introduction
Under normal circumstances, alcohol cannot be detected by breath test 24 to 48 hours after drinking. When only a small amount of alcohol is consumed, it is generally metabolized by the body over time, which varies depending on individual constitution, amount of alcohol consumed, and alcohol concentration. After drinking, alcohol metabolism typically begins within 4 hours and is processed primarily by the liver.

After light alcohol consumption, the body metabolizes alcohol over time, which varies depending on individual constitution, amount consumed, and alcohol concentration. After drinking, alcohol metabolism typically begins within 4 hours, primarily processed by the liver. At this point, alcohol is already present in the bloodstream. With small amounts of low-concentration alcohol, the body's metabolic rate tends to be faster, and alcohol usually becomes undetectable after about 24 hours.

However, if the beer has a higher alcohol content or larger quantities are consumed, the body’s metabolism may slow down significantly. In some individuals, it may take up to 48 hours for alcohol to be completely metabolized. Excessive alcohol intake can lead to alcohol poisoning and may also stimulate the nervous system. Therefore, it is advisable to reduce alcohol consumption habits.

If alcohol poisoning occurs, the person should be promptly taken to a hospital for treatments such as gastric lavage or induced vomiting to prevent systemic toxicity and complications from alcohol intoxication.
