Introduction
In general, soreness, pain, and swelling in the lower half of the arm may be a physiological response caused by exposure to cold, or may result from pathological conditions such as tendonitis or lymphadenitis. Treatment medications should be selected based on the underlying cause. It could also be triggered by factors such as fasciitis, cervical radiculopathy, or rheumatoid arthritis. It is recommended to seek timely medical attention at a hospital and actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment plan.

Generally, aching, pain, and swelling in the lower half of the arm may be physiological symptoms caused by exposure to cold, or pathological conditions resulting from diseases such as tendonitis or lymphadenitis. Appropriate treatment medications should be selected based on the underlying cause. Specific analysis is as follows:

I. Physiological Causes

If one does not pay attention to staying warm, local blood circulation may be affected, leading to accumulation of inflammatory metabolites that irritate nerves around the arm, causing symptoms such as soreness, pain, and fatigue. It is recommended to apply a warm towel compress, which can help relieve these discomforts.

II. Pathological Causes

1. Tendonitis

Overuse of tendons at work, repetitive stretching, or trauma may easily irritate local tissues, resulting in tenderness, aching, stiffness, and other symptoms in the forearm. After onset, consult a doctor about taking medications such as indomethacin enteric-coated tablets, diclofenac sodium sustained-release tablets, or aspirin enteric-coated tablets. Adequate bed rest is advised during treatment.

2. Lymphadenitis

This condition is often associated with inflammatory infections or chronic malnutrition. During the course of the disease, local tissues are irritated, causing arm soreness and discomfort, as well as impaired normal movement. It is recommended to take medications such as metronidazole tablets, amoxicillin capsules, or entecavir tablets under medical guidance, along with appropriate supportive care.

Other possible causes include fasciitis, radiculopathic cervical spondylosis, or rheumatoid arthritis. It is advisable to seek timely medical evaluation and actively cooperate with the doctor's treatment plan.
