Reasons why overnight water may be unsuitable for drinking typically include bacterial growth, increased nitrite content, mineral precipitation, effects from container materials, and poor storage conditions. 1. Bacterial Growth: During storage, if the container is not covered or sealed, bacteria from the air may enter the water, causing contamination.
