Does taking Sanjin Tablets cause frequent urination?
Frequent urination is a highly characteristic symptom of various diseases. In women infected with Candida, frequent urination may occur. Sanjin Tablets are a well-known traditional Chinese patent medicine that effectively alleviates urinary frequency. This medication is also highly effective in treating common conditions such as cystitis, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and acute or chronic pyelonephritis.
Can Sanjin Tablets Cause Frequent Urination?
Yes, taking Sanjin Tablets may lead to increased urinary frequency. This is because Sanjin Tablets possess heat-clearing, detoxifying, diuretic, and urinary tract–soothing properties. Consequently, urine output may increase after taking the medication. However, if inflammation continues to irritate the bladder and urethra, urinary frequency may persist or even temporarily worsen. Sanjin Tablets can improve urinary frequency caused by urinary tract infections; however, they are ineffective for urinary frequency due to overactive bladder syndrome or benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Typically, noticeable reduction in urinary frequency occurs after 3–5 days of treatment, as improved control of inflammation allows bladder capacity to increase and reduces bladder irritation. Therefore, Sanjin Tablets can alleviate urinary frequency once inflammation is adequately controlled. During the early phase of treatment, when urinary frequency persists, it is essential to continue taking Sanjin Tablets for an adequate duration to achieve symptom relief. The recommended dosage is 3–5 tablets per dose, taken orally three times daily. Additionally, patients should drink plenty of water and urinate frequently during treatment.
