What Are the Symptoms of Mild Cervical Erosion?
Disease description:
I recently suspected that I might have mild cervical erosion and would like to know: What are the symptoms of mild cervical erosion?
Mild cervical ectropion (commonly but inaccurately referred to as “cervical erosion”) typically presents with symptoms such as increased vaginal discharge or lower abdominal pain. It is primarily caused by hormonal imbalances within the body, often resulting in increased or abnormal vaginal discharge—typically profuse and sometimes malodorous. In more severe cases, patients may notice blood-tinged discharge or small amounts of blood. Therefore, maintaining good personal hygiene is essential.
