The primary concern is that the aforementioned symptoms may be caused by osteoarticular disease. It is recommended that you promptly visit a hospital for imaging studies (e.g., X-rays) of the affected joints. If osteophytes (bone spurs) are identified in the knee joint, initial management should include analgesic therapy under the guidance of a physician. Calcium supplementation may also be prescribed by your physician. Additionally, it is advisable to take appropriate vitamin supplements and avoid exposure to cold temperatures. Surgical intervention may be considered if clinically indicated.
