If vaginal discharge is clear, viscous, and highly elastic (forming long, stretchy threads), it typically indicates ovulation, as hormonal fluctuations during this phase cause changes in vaginal secretions. Additionally, if the vaginal discharge is clear and watery, endometrial cancer and fallopian tube cancer must be ruled out.
