What medications should be taken for gastric ulcers?
Disease description:
I was previously diagnosed with gastric ulcers during a hospital visit, and it seems they have recently recurred. What medications should I take for gastric ulcers?
Patients with gastric ulcers require oral medications that protect the gastric mucosa and suppress gastric acid secretion. Commonly used drugs include omeprazole, colloidal bismuth pectin, famotidine, and rabeprazole. If *Helicobacter pylori* infection is present, additional oral antibiotics—such as amoxicillin and clarithromycin—are also required. Patients should also pay attention to their diet, avoiding foods or medications that irritate the gastric mucosa. Furthermore, regular physical exercise is recommended to enhance overall immunity.
