Hand peeling can be managed with topical medications and, if necessary, oral medications. If the peeling is caused by a fungal infection, antifungal creams—such as ketoconazole or miconazole—may be applied topically under a physician’s guidance. If the peeling results from hand eczema, antihistamines—such as loratadine—may be prescribed by a physician to alleviate allergic reactions and thereby relieve the peeling symptoms.
