The reasons for skin peeling on the hands upon contact with water may involve multiple factors: 1. A deficiency in B-complex vitamins may lead to compromised skin function, making the hands prone to blistering and peeling after contact with water. 2. If the skin on the hands is affected by fungal infections, such as tinea manuum (hand癣), skin peeling after contact with water may also occur. 3. Contact dermatitis is another significant cause. After prolonged exposure to strongly irritating substances such as detergent or soap, the skin on the hands may become damaged and start peeling. Additionally, exfoliative keratolysis might also cause skin peeling on the hands after contact with water; this is a superficial desquamative skin disorder affecting the hands and feet. For this condition, it is recommended to seek timely medical attention. At the same time, in daily life, one should maintain a balanced diet, and avoid prolonged contact with irritating substances to prevent hand skin peeling.
