Should blisters caused by mosquito bites be lanced?
Disease description:
Hot summer weather brings many mosquitoes. After being bitten, blisters and red swelling appear. I wonder whether mosquito bite-induced blisters should be lanced.
Do not puncture mosquito bite blisters casually. Once punctured, they may become secondarily infected with bacteria, leading to symptoms such as pus formation at the blister site. If a blister resulting from a mosquito bite becomes excessively large and causes significant tension discomfort in some patients, a sterilized needle may be used to carefully lance the blister and fully drain the fluid.
