What Causes Blisters After Cupping Therapy?
Disease description:
This is primarily due to excessive cupping duration, which can cause skin damage and subsequently lead to blister formation. Some blisters may also cause mild itching or pain. Standard cupping therapy typically lasts about 10 minutes. If the blister is small, allow it to be gradually reabsorbed naturally. If the blister is larger, disinfect the area with gentian violet solution, then carefully puncture it using a sterile needle. Afterwards, cover the affected skin with sterile gauze.
