Hepatitis A vaccines generally have side effects. Like most vaccines, hepatitis A vaccines can cause certain adverse reactions, such as fever, skin itching, redness and swelling at the injection site, nausea, vomiting, and decreased appetite. Therefore, after vaccination, recipients should remain at the clinic for approximately 30 minutes for observation. Should any adverse symptoms occur, prompt medical treatment can be provided.
