Ureteral stones may cause testicular pain. Ureteral stones are a common urological condition; once formed, they are typically passed spontaneously through the urinary tract. However, during passage, stones can irritate the urethra and trigger urinary tract infection (UTI). Such infections may spread or refer pain to the testicular region, resulting in testicular pain. In cases of ureteral stones, increasing fluid intake can help accelerate stone expulsion and alleviate local discomfort. If the stone is large and unlikely to pass spontaneously, surgical intervention at a hospital may be required for stone removal.
