Dizziness during menstruation is mainly related to vasoconstriction and spasms caused by elevated prostaglandin levels in the body during the menstrual period. It may also occur because increased menstrual blood loss leads to deficiency of qi and blood in women, resulting in discomfort; once both qi and blood become deficient, dizziness can develop. In addition, women's physical resistance decreases during menstruation. If they fail to keep warm and their bodies or heads are exposed to cold or wind, dizziness may also occur. If dizziness is severe, it is recommended to seek timely medical treatment at a hospital for targeted therapy.
