What are the main early symptoms of nasopharyngeal carcinoma?
Disease description:
Recently, my grandfather developed tinnitus. After a hospital examination, it was found to be caused by nasopharyngeal cancer. What are the main early symptoms of nasopharyngeal cancer?
Early symptoms of nasopharyngeal carcinoma include facial numbness, tinnitus, and headaches. As the disease progresses, persistent headaches, blood-tinged sputum, and nosebleeds may occur. Once nasopharyngeal carcinoma is diagnosed, patients are advised to undergo surgical treatment as early as possible. Radiotherapy may also be used when necessary to control disease progression.
