Patients with gallstones should not eat chili peppers. Chili peppers are spicy and irritating foods. Patients with gallstones may experience abdominal pain, and consuming spicy or irritating foods can increase the burden on the gastrointestinal tract, worsening bodily pain. Therefore, it is not recommended for gallstone patients to eat chili peppers. During treatment, patients should ensure adequate rest, avoid overexertion and staying up late, drink plenty of water, maintain a light diet, and avoid smoking, alcohol, and spicy foods.
