The adverse effects of niacinamide on the skin mainly include the following aspects:
1. Allergic reactions: Niacin in niacinamide may cause skin allergies,表现为皮肤发红、发痒、发烫、刺痛，甚至出现丘疹、痘痘等症状。 These symptoms are more likely to occur under cold, dry climatic conditions.
2. Skin redness and peeling: If niacinamide is not used as directed or if the skin is intolerant to it, skin redness and peeling may occur.
3. Enlarged pores: Frequent and excessive application of niacinamide may lead to clogged pores and consequently enlarged pores if the skin fails to absorb it in a timely manner.
4. Other adverse effects: Some individuals may also experience dizziness, nausea, loss of appetite, and other adverse reactions after using products containing niacinamide, although these symptoms are generally mild and can resolve spontaneously.
