Low blood creatinine levels can be mainly attributed to disease-related factors and non-disease-related factors.
1. Regarding disease-related factors, conditions such as anemia, malnutrition, muscle atrophy, leukemia, and diabetes insipidus may lead to abnormal muscle metabolism or impaired kidney function, thereby affecting the normal production and excretion of blood creatinine, resulting in lower levels.
2. Concerning non-disease-related factors, specific populations such as the elderly, underweight individuals, and pregnant women may have relatively lower muscle mass or higher glomerular filtration rates, which are physiological characteristics that can also result in low blood creatinine levels.
3. Individual variations, dietary habits, and other factors may also influence blood creatinine levels to some extent.
