What causes headaches and memory decline?
Recently preparing for the graduation exam, I have been staying up late every night, but I still can't seem to remember things well. I also experience headaches. May I ask, what could be causing headaches and memory decline?

Headache and memory decline may be caused by various factors, mainly including the following aspects:
1. Cerebral hypoperfusion: Underlying diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and coronary heart disease may lead to insufficient cerebral blood supply, which can subsequently cause headaches and memory impairment.
2. Neurasthenia: Prolonged work stress, a tense lifestyle, frequent熬夜 (staying up late), insomnia, or poor sleep quality may contribute to neurasthenia, manifesting as headaches and memory decline.
3. Depressive and anxiety states: Patients with depression or anxiety disorders often experience somatic symptoms such as headache and poor memory.
4. Sinusitis: Chronic nasal conditions such as rhinitis and sinusitis may also result in headaches and memory deterioration.
5. Other factors: Intracranial lesions, demyelinating diseases, and cerebral white matter abnormalities may also cause headaches and memory decline.
Patients experiencing such symptoms are advised to seek medical attention promptly.
