Glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) primarily reflects blood glucose control in diabetic patients over the past 2–3 months. Individuals with diabetes must actively cooperate with their physicians to receive appropriate drug therapy and pay special attention to dietary management—avoiding high-sugar foods such as bananas, oranges, sweet buns, and watermelon—and drinking warm boiled water regularly. Blood glucose monitoring should also be performed at scheduled intervals.
