Gastric mucosal prolapse refers to the abnormal loosening and prolapse of the gastric mucosa into the pyloric canal or duodenum. This condition may result from chronic gastric inflammation causing prolonged irritation of the mucosa. Patients commonly experience symptoms such as abdominal pain, belching, gastrointestinal bleeding, and loss of appetite; some may also suffer from nausea and vomiting. Treatment with microwave therapy may be performed under a physician’s guidance.
