Will hemorrhoids that have been pushed back in come out again during bowel movements? It happened yesterday during the first bowel movement.
I noticed a hemorrhoid protruding during my first bowel movement yesterday, and subsequently tried to push it back inside. I'm concerned that the hemorrhoid may protrude again during subsequent bowel movements.
Hemorrhoids are a common anal condition, primarily caused by the dilation and varicosity of the venous plexus in the lower rectum and anal canal. When hemorrhoids progress to a certain stage, especially under conditions of increased abdominal pressure during defecation, prolapse of the hemorrhoidal mass may occur. The patient manually reduced the prolapsed hemorrhoid yesterday, which is a temporary measure. If the underlying issue isn't addressed, recurrence is likely.
Given this situation, patients should increase their dietary fiber intake, drink more water, maintain regular bowel movements, avoid constipation, and appropriately perform anal sphincter-strengthening exercises. After defecation, the anal area should be cleaned with warm water instead of being wiped with toilet paper, to avoid irritating the hemorrhoids. Additionally, if hemorrhoids prolapse frequently and affect quality of life, timely medical consultation is advised, as medication or surgical treatment may be necessary to resolve the hemorrhoidal problem.
