What should I do about peeling skin on my nose?
Disease description:
The cause is unknown, but the skin on my nose is peeling severely. What should I do about nasal skin peeling?
Treatment for nasal skin peeling should be tailored to the underlying cause. If it results from skin inflammation, topical application of crotamiton–triamcinolone–neomycin cream may be appropriate. If excessive dryness is the cause, moisturizing lotions can be applied. Nasal peeling may also occur following exposure to allergens; in such cases, calamine lotion may be applied as a wet compress. In the meantime, maintain cleanliness of the surrounding skin and avoid rubbing the area with your hands.
