Abdominal pain accompanied by diarrhea may be related to consuming hotpot and alcohol, both of which can irritate the gastrointestinal tract. Conditions such as indigestion, gastrointestinal functional disorder, or intestinal dysbiosis cannot be ruled out; these may result from improper diet, overeating, or abdominal exposure to cold. Treatment may include antispasmodic analgesics, digestive aids, and antidiarrheal medications, with close observation of symptom response. Additionally, adopt a regimen of small, frequent meals and consume light, easily digestible foods—avoid greasy, raw, cold, or otherwise hard-to-digest items, and abstain from alcohol. If symptoms are severe, consult a gastroenterologist at a hospital for further evaluation.
