What causes chills, headache, and generalized sweating?
Disease description:
Recently, I’ve been experiencing unexplained chills without having been exposed to cold or drafts. What could be causing chills, headache, and generalized sweating?
This condition is most likely an upper respiratory tract infection triggered by exposure to cold, and is somewhat associated with viral infection. It is recommended that you visit a reputable hospital for tests such as a complete blood count (CBC) to confirm the diagnosis. Once diagnosed, antiviral medications and symptomatic treatment may be initiated. During this period, drink plenty of warm water. If you experience chills, ginger–brown sugar tea may also be helpful, as it has wind-dispelling and cold-resolving properties. Additionally, ensure adequate rest and avoid overexertion during treatment.
